Default Dec 2008 visa bulletin predictions

It is Nov 3rd 2008 already, and in 10-15 days the much awaited Dec 2008 Visa bulletin should come.

What do you think will be the status for EB3, EB2, India, China & ROW.

Its election time too, will they process things faster ? or it really does not matter now.

And economy is slowing down too, will uscis slow down too in their processing times ?

Please use this thread to post your comments and predictions, and we will keep it running till Nov 12 or Nov 15 when the actual bulletin comes out.

And if you find other links like mumbai consulate or some other site which gives the bulletin soon ,please post it for others to share.

Default Here we go :)

Nice, we start another guessing game and see how accurate we are when the acutual bulletin is out!

Nice, this keeps us attached to the portal and share our anxities. I think the date will move little forward.

Question is: how objective this action would be? I think after doing all this guessing that satisfies and provides enough fun to our brain, lets do something that can really help us. I request everyone who want to put their predictions here, please also do visit: http://immigrationvoice.org/forum/sh...ad.php?t=22182 (IV ACTION ITEM: Write to USCIS on recent spate of I485 denials in AC21 cases.) and send mails for AC21 injustice happening.

Let me start with my prediction,

Eb3 India may go to Dec 2001 and Eb2 India may go to Nov 2003

The same old 4-5 months movement.

---------

Ok to the person who gave me a RED, i also wanted people to post the link as soon as they hear about it, because mumbai consulate sometimes posts it faster, one time , the phone number of DOL was updated faster than mumbai consulate.

Comon guys its not just prediction, it is also to know when the VB is actually out.

Giving red for this is too bad.

Don't get annoyed with Reds and Greens. Gave you green, if that makes you happy.

Angry

I thought the some seniors on this board asked everyone to take a long vacation and comeback here after 4-5months

USCIS is unpredictable. But realistically, i dont see any significant movement for EB2 or Eb3 India.
May be a couple of months for both.

I heard DOS/USCIS is merging their databases and then they will be able to come up with steady VB movement. I heard that this work was suppose to be completed by end of Oct'2008. Does any body have any update on that?

With USCIS, there wont be any updates. There will be only surprises.

Last bulletin and prior one all of us have been anticipating very eagerly.
It turned out to be anti climax.
Hopefully this one will be the other way around.

One thing we have noticed is USCIS/DOS have been very unpredictable.

Which bulletin is not much awaited? I doubt there has been a single bulletin that has gone by without any discussions or predictions around it.

You have got a very good sense of humor. This post actually belongs to thread “Lighten up”. I am sorry dude. I am just letting out my frustration and it has got nothing to do with your post...

I think with Dec or Jan bulletin it will move to mid 2004 for Eb2 india. We see less case approved in this month when DOS set PD of 2003. Two reasons : Either they dont have much cases pending with 2003 or earliar PD or those cases are not ready to adjuct. ( May be namecheck , missing file , RFE , missing docs.. anything ). So DOS have to move forward dates to avoid visa waste. I think they will move towards 2004 year and wait for couple months to see if UCIS can approve and use all visa. If not then as later we move into fiscal year we will start seeing big jumps.. This year I am hoping it will bring us to 2007. if USCIS dont provide backlog info to DOS. They have promised and posted info that they will have merged DB on Oct 29th. If they have that info now then we will see small comment from visa officer regarding it in this coming bulletin. This bulletin will be important in order to make guess.

IF we dont see any solid statement that DOS got info from CIS then dates will be current or early 2008 months for Eb2 India in last quater of 2009.
