To link GC with no. of H-1 issued each year

We should concentrate on linking no. of GC issued against H-1 allotted and o/s. for each year. Corporates are not interested in it as they may lose bonded labor.

If person coming on H-1 and gets GC within specified years than USA will not lose jobs to outsider but that person will continue to contribute to US economy throuout his lifetime. Many of such GC holders in SV have started new companies and contributed to USA economy.

...
Apr 08 --> 01 OCT 01
May 08 --> 01 NOV 01
Jun 08 --> 01 NOV 01
Jul 08 --> U
Aug 08 --> U
Sep 08 --> U

Oct 08 --> 01 JUL 01
Nov 08 --> 01 OCT 01
Dec 08 --> 01 OCT 01
Jan 09 --> 15 OCT 01
Feb 09 --> 15 OCT 01
Mar 09 --> 15 OCT 01

EB3-I movement in 2008 illustrates an important point: if the dates are moved too far forward too fast... they'll simply become unavailable. This had happened with EB2 in 2006 & 7 too.

It's good that they're moving it cautiously now. Movement of 1-2 weeks in every quarter is sustainable for EB3-I. Any faster is not.

post bulletin behaviour

Every time a bulletin is posted, we fill pages and pages of this forum bitching about the situation. But do we have a plan to deal with the problem?

I know forum already has this in its agenda to file for AOS when dates are not current. BUT... can we do some compaigning NOW so that people like me can get some relief by filing AOS and get EAD/AP?
I think this can be done as part of Admin fixes.

WHAT SAY GUYS?
Thanks.

Dude..Take it easy..There are thousands of people ahead of you in queue (mind you not because they were able to apply for AOS in 2007, but because they came to this country way before 2004) waiting for the magic door to open..

Not that I am saying we should not include your suggestion as part of ADMIN fixes, but I object to your usage of the term "Unluckliest"...it has lot of negative connotation. You made a decision to change jobs for advancement of your career knowing the fact that it might hamper your green card application..So own up to your decision..

Retrogression started in January 2005, see below... amazing ... after 3 years... wow.

Here is the EB3-I approval trend since 2005.
2008 = 3576
2007 = 17795
2006 = 3006
2005 = 23250

Total ~47000 GCs have been issued so far without any movement in dates. God knows even if unused visa recapture happens, the situation will improve? Wonder how many Indians applied in EB3 in 2001/2002.

It's not how many 2001/2002 guys are there? It's more than this year quota for EB3-I. i.e. 2600.
USCIS process is broken. When they open the gate 2004/2006 applicants are getting GC where applicantion of 2001/02 are still geting dust in some cornor. I will prefer small movement than opening the gate for all. I am not lucky guy and waiting quite long to get GC. I don't want luck should be part of ANY process. :mad: Many of my friend who filed LC with me got citizenship or close to that. :D

Moving 1 or 2 weeks or U does not make much difference....

Sorry guys to dig out old predictions.. I know it will confuse one or two, but the title clearly says March bulletin.. And I know we are all waiting (but doing nothing) for this April bulletin.
I just wanted to be prepared to copy and paste some comments as soon as this April bulletin will come out in 3-4 days. Pls dont throw reds at me, instead do it on the decision makers and reps, and send out letters, do campaigns etc.. , but peacefully.
As soon as the bulletin comes out, I will copy n paste some of these beautiful comments by us, who have been waiting again n again (but doing nothing in action)..
Thanks guys, I dont need to type again.. good job

Big STorm coming

Guys

I would believe that there is some big storm coming and it wouldn't be fun at all. All the statitcs that we are trying to do for months and years is not working or would not work since they have diff plan for us altogether. I am not trying to be pesimtic here but looking at the way the things are going on here, i really don't see any light at the end of any tunnel.With people actively fighting against H1-B and other temp programmes and the stories of H1-B getting rejected even for the extension, it looks that our chances are really dim. I would think if they were really serious about us immigrants, we wouldn't be stuck like this. With unemployement claims sky rocketing survial of immigrants would hang in thin thread. I would say forget about the staticts , live the life and be ready

Did EB3-I get some spill over in 2008?
