Question Starting limited liability business while on H1B

Folks,
I have a few awesome ideas swirling in my cranium and I am all but fed up of waiting for my 485 to go through. I don't want to sit and crib about it, so i want to know if someone has thought about the workarounds of opening and running a business on H1B in US.

I asked this a while ago to my lawyer, so I'll share what I can remember. This of course, is no substitute to legal advice from your own lawyer.

My understanding, under H1-B is you are able to file for a C-Corp. provided you use a foreign address and you are not claiming income from said company. I believe others know more about this than I do, so please share.

Under your EAD however, you have no such limitation. You can open a business without being limited to a C-Corp. I myself have a business (C-Corp), I filed with the NY-State (Opal) and the IRS. I file taxes every year.
