Hi trueguy... I do not know where to keep myself..priority date march 2002. My I-140 was approved in april 2007 with EB-2 category. I applied for I-485 July 2007. I got a new I-140 update 14th july 2009 mentioning my category as EB-3. I do not understand this situation. I have two EB-'s... My previous employers attorney says it OK you have two EB's:D

please change the poll format...

hi,

not to pick on minor things...but it would be good if the format is as follows:

before 2001

jan 1 2001 - dec 31 2001
jan 1 2002 - nov 2002
dec 2002 - jun 2003

something like that...

in the current format, even though my pd is 2003 mar, i can put in before 2006 as well

Humm poll results are scary as there are millions in the line front of me.

we need CIR.

optimist 07-31-2009 11:38 PM

Thanks for initiating the poll. If all EB3-India folks participate, everybody will get a fairly good estimate of where they stand in the line.

trueguy 07-31-2009 11:44 PM

Thanks for the inputs. However, I can't change the format now.

I think we all are Highly Skilled people here so it should not be difficult to understand this poll.

Ratio of poll versus Pre-Adjudicated EB3-I

As Per Ron's posting, there are about 50K EB3-I application pre-adjudicated and only 90 PEOPLE voted here.

Why EB3-I folks are so quiet?

All of those 50K will vote, If you can tell one good, meaningful reason why we need this poll other than shoving the poll up .... ...

Why don't you get this data from DOS/USCIS? I can't believe people are so shallow that they are hesitant about this poll. Don't you have a little bit of common sense on why we need this poll. Unbelievable.

I voted. But I think the best way to predict how many are infront of us to pull the info. from the database. It could be IV Data Base or where we can sort and do some comparative analysis. My PD is Nov. 2003, when I checked last time there are around 700 EB3-I folks before me. That scared me a lot.

It looks like EB3 approvals stopped in 2003 from the voting results.
If there was a way to extract the actual numbers from the USCIS, then we can be better able to predict how the movement is going to be. From Mathew Oh's site, it was said that there were about 450 to 500K I-485 applications filed during the July 07 month.

You have to consider the 2.4/applicant factor...

If we take it is sample of 10% of actual data - Total EB 3 India approximately 5000 applicants still waiting.

By 2010 Oct, EB3 I PDs should move to 12/2003.

You have to consider the family factor (2.4 visas / applicant)...
Then the 5000 becomes 12000.

more realistic is 2-3% . 5% is max - sample data in trackiit.

I am guessing close to 8-10K EB3-I Pending in 2002.
