Default What happens if the filing of I-485 has missing initial evidence?

What happens if the filing of I-485 has missing initial evidence?

Assume that my lawyer files the I-485, on mid July and when I get all the documents and cross check for its accuracy find that one of the important document is not filed.
Under the new memo, they can deny it.

However, can you reply again with correct document and with fee as a new applicant, assuming that first application will be any way rejected?

The reason why I am asking this question is, my lawyer makes this kinds of mistakes, and the USCIS will notify this mistakes only after couple of months, by this tike the PD might have moved back and we will loose this boat.

Thanks for the output in advance.
