I think EB3 World will be "C". May be EB2 for India and China also "C". Highly unlikely that EB3 for india and china be C. If you look at VB archives, EB3 india and china are first to retrogrett, last to get "C" in every regression priod.
All in all i really do not expect the Oct VB to look worse than Jun 07.

ANOTHER QUERY:

ROW (not china, india or mexico) had 46340 LC approvals with PD from 02/2005 - 09/31/2006

of course this includes everything including a significant number that would be in the other worker category

The June VB stated World EB3 @ June 2005. Which is a 2 year jump from May VB. I am pretty sure the World EB3 will be around current or beginning of 2007. Don't forget, only 7 % per country for visa allocate. and I pretty sure EB3 on India and China will stay or at best jump a little forward.

Question

This June, when the flood gates opened, a huge number of BEC victims applied. They are going to take the place of the 60K numbers cleared. So It will be really something if the dates don't retrogress back to where they were on May 2007, when the October bulletin comes out.

One thing for sure, if you haven't start the LC for GC, you screwed . Becasue the waiting time will be forever unless there is a revolution in immigration bill. Go back to China and India, we have a bright future there, lots of opportunity and everything I would say, not even catching up with USA but some of those were over already.

jonty..

but how would DOS/USCIS set the date for EB2 in the bulletin..? do they calculate the i140 approvals in EB2/3 category and the already 485 cases approved before they release the bulletin..?

so damn confusing theory...? thats why both of them took a break and cut pasted 'U' in the bulletin in all rows and columns

Let me guess, your PD is around march 2005?
EB-2 was jan-2003 until May. Even with 60K visas used up since then, its fairly optimistic to think there will be a 2 year jump to March-05, especially since BECs will also be all done by october, adding to the demand. mid-2004 seems more reasonable guess for EB2-India
