Default Philly processing taking about 3-4 years!

Friends,

Here are some numbers for Philly Backlog Center Processing times.

For cases filed in Month Year -- Approved in #days from priority date

Jun 02 -- 1292 days
Jul 02 -- 1362 days
Jan 03 -- 969 days
Apr 03 -- 826 days
Oct 03 -- 814 days

Source: http://www.nriweb.com/phbecgraph.php

Notice a trend? Right, there is no trend, it's totally erratic and most frustrating.
Average time to get certified from PBEC in last one year = 1,293 days!!! That's about 3.5 years, It's crazy!

Gurus,

Any info, what are the earliest dates of Labor awaiting adjudication at the PBEC? As per my info majority of the cases in PBEC are from May 2002 onwards.

Regards.

Default Can we pressure Philly to move faster?

It seems the Dalls center is moving faster? Who do we need to send communications to to get the Philly backglog center to move faster?

Default Delaware case with Oct 2003 priority date approved

Hi guys:

My friend got his labor approved from Philly BRC. The case had a priority date of October 2003 and was filed in Delaware. This is very strange because right now Philly is adjudicating cases filed in July 2002 time frame. So it seems they are not following FIFO. If they had followed FIFO there is no way a October 2003 case would have got approved.

Best of luck to all you guys waiting!!!!

Was this an RIR case? If so, had it cleared the SWA before going to BEC?

Default Filo!

My application was submitted 9/2001 under RIR through MD SWA, and had just gotten to Philly Regional before being swept into BEC. My employer had filed the response confirmation back in 1/2005, and that was the last I heard about anything.

I do see a trend posted by donsimahajan (thanks!), if 5 points can make a trend -- just eyeballing a regression analysis, my approval would take at least 1700 days, taking me through 8/2006. (I should be so fortunate.) Best of luck to everyone else waiting like me.
