Question H1B expiring Nov 2013, May 2013 PERM pending, Can't go out

Hello all, please help if possible by sharing your knowledge.

Background:
-----------
My PERM was filed May 1st week, 2013. It is pending.
My H1B is in 6th year and expiring Nov 2nd week, 2013.
I have very little recapture of vacation days available (2 weeks).
I don't want to travel out of USA because my baby is due early 2014.
My spouse recently obtained H1B and will start work from Oct 2nd week, 2013.

Questions:
----------
1. Is it an option for me to go on H4 on my spouse's H1B from Nov, 1st week? My employer is OK with me not working and willing to keep the green card process on.
2. Does my spouse have to work at least 2-3 months before I can go on H4?
3. Is being on H4 going to affect my GC procedure in adverse manner?

Thanks for any guidance.

Default Hi

Hi, i know its too late, but case is still not been answered & would like to know what happened to your case.

I'm in the same situation as you were that time. so please point me what to do.

Background:
-----------
My PERM was filed Sep 1st week, 2015. It is pending.

My H1B is in 6th year and expiring March 25 2016, but the visa stamp is there till Oct 2016, same as my I-94 till Oct 2016

I have very little recapture of vacation days available (3 weeks).

What are my best options now?

Thanks,
Kris

For me, I went on H4 because my wife was on H1. My PERM got approved in August 2014 and then I got 3 year extension on the H1.

Other option would be going to your home country, wait for PERM to get approved and come back after stamping at US consulate.
