Default When should I start working for sponsoring employer once GC is approved?

Hello Everybody,
My I-485 is currently pending and my PD (March 2006) is current.

My GC was filed by company A, I worked for the company for 4 years but had to leave the company A after I filed 485 (just after 2 months) due to personal reasons.
I got an RFE on 485 about employment verification. Got the letter from employer A to respond to RFE, stating there intent to hire me once the GC is approved.

Currently I am working for Employer B(on H1 - B status), my question is when should I go and join employer A if my GC gets approved.

Any inputs is greatly appreciated.

THANKS in advance.

Thanks for the response.
Will there be any issues if I don't start working immediately.

As I just applied my wife's I-485 (dependent on me) , what if both the approvals doesn't come together?

Default Use AC21

H1B makes the difference here. Had you used AC21 while moving to company B, you do not have to go back and work for employer A.

You are the primary, so when u get ur GC, u can start working; ur wife's will come eventually and yes AC21 makes the difference.

My attorney said that I am not eligible for AC21 as I prematurely left the sponsoring employer (before 180 days, after I filed for 485)

Default You should be fine

If company is out of business, then you are fine. You can explain same thing to USCIS at the time of naturalization.

Spoke with attorney, he said for future employment, one has to join the sponsoring employer as soon as GC gets approved

You can get a waiver from the sponsoring company, stating that they are not in capacity at this given point of time to hire you becuase of the economy (Oh! Yeah!!!blame everything on economy) and let them also state that they will contact you and will give you preference, if the situation changes. Such a letter can save from the trouble.
