All PERM approvals expire after 6 months of approval (which is Ok as long as your I140 was filed within those 6 months). That is why it is advised to include cert-expired from those mdbs in all calculations. So it is normal that your PERM shows "cert-expired" if more than 6 months have elapsed since your PERM approval. The folks who are mentioning and discussing the mdbs from FLDC..you will find that there are close to 80K apps from Aug 07 till Dec 2010. I had posted a txt with cumulative backlog per month (with DoS/Dependent factor, approval , EB2% and other factors, %'s). It was close to the number reached by TK and other experts here.

If the dates move to 15th Aug to get all pre-adjudicated cases then all of them may not be approved because the cap will run out. Also September maybe a good month for the fresh intake if it does not happen now then it will get delayed to Q3 2012.
EB3 - Last monthís movement was good, however EB3 may move by another 15 days. The range will be 01-JUN-2002 to 15-JUN-2002.
Good Luck to all, already the coming soon sign is up for the VB.
+ you never know with USCIS.. they could move the dates by any number of months?

I don't think 7% cap will be removed not in this bad environment. Even if it is removed there will not be any relief for EB3 folks. EB2 will be current anyway next year.

Why EB2 people ask for visa movement? What happened to EB3? Did they abandon GC process? 9 years backlog is unacceptable.

In the spirit of bipartisanship, would you suggest that EB2 folks ask for EB3 visa movement, and EB3 dudes ask about EB2 dates? EB2-EB3 bhai-bhai?

I am not sure about EB2-I becoming current anytime soon. There are thousands of folks are just waiting with EB2 India after Aug-2007 PD. That's why you see more interest from them. I don't blame them. There will be movement around last quarter due to spillover and that will not be enough move date current. During first three quarters, PWMB and EB3-EB2 porters will suck all oxygen and dates won't move much. 235 visas allowed for EB2 I and this will be pretty much consumed by porters and PWMB. The whole system is clogged with applications and applications waiting to be filed. The only relief is some legislative changes. Anyone with few operating neurons in their head would have not filed EB3 PERM due to EB3 backlog in the last few years. In long-term, EB2 becomes just another EB3, except that they have some hope of getting some unused visas from EB1. The interest in EB2 movement will be naturally put to death until the last quarter of the year.

If we remove country cap, I think EB3 and EB2 india both benefits. EB3 india will pretty much suck oxygen out of EB3 ROW since there are more backlogs from India with earliest PD. The earliest PD takes precedence and EB3 india naturally benefits. It won't be current anytime soon. But it removes the clogging applications from USCIS database. Until then all EB3 applications simply collect dusts.

When my time becomes current, my original G325 that I filed will look like US constitution paper. If USCIS adjudicating officer wants to review my paper form during interview, he/she better equipped with proper tools, otherwise he/she is going to destroy it.

The I+C demand is just in the excess of 8K. If we assume that a cap number was attached to every case that does not figure here then letís do a rough calculation of SOFAD consumed. When this year started we saw 34K as the total on the demand data, so 34-8 = 26K is the absolute reduction in the demand data. If we assume 4-6K of porting then definitely 30K or more SOFAD has been consumed. So another 2-3K may probably be left for Sep. Good luck for the VB.

Default Assuming...

Probably it is not a best analysis, but assuming that 3k is still remaining that will reduce the demand data for EB2-I to 1800 for the start of next fiscal year. Correct? With 233 visas per month that will just leave the first 8 months to move at a snail pace to cover up the numbers until Jan 2008. Unless there is a spill over which probably is in July 2012, can we safely assume that the date won't move beyond Jan '2008 until July '2012?

I think you are forgetting that I-C will need to get the visa numbers EB2-I alone will not use up the 3K visas. i could be wrong.
