Last two years, USCIS published the demand data in the last week of May.

But again, with USCIS you never know.

I think you're talking two different things here. Demand Data is published on a (mostly) monthly basis. This is the data CO uses to make the bulletin.

The data you've refered to is the Pending Inventory of USCIS thats published whenever USCIS pleases to do so. The last few years it has been consistent in publishing it thrice a year - once at the beginning of the fiscal year in OCT; once at the beginning of the new calendar year in JAN and finally once in late spring/early summer in MAY when it (kind of) knows whether or not it can use up all numbers available for the year.

I'm sorry. I actually meant "I-485 pending inventory" published by USCIS.

Default EB2 I/C approvals...

I see that there has been 2 recent EB2 I approvals[05/01 and 05/05] on the other site. Is this an indication that there are still few visa numbers available? That too the case approved on 05/01 has a RFE replied on 03/30 - that is after the internal USCIS memo was issued on 03/23.

Default Greened today - EB3-EB2 porting successfull

Finally, got the status update today about approval. Finally in the 4th labor application.

Being in Finance Industry, the EB2 PERM was filed under supervised recruiting. Here are the details.

1. Original EB3 PERM filed - June 2007 ( second green card application as I abandoned an older RIR application when I switched job).
2. Missed Filing for EAD in August 2007 as PERM not approved.
3. Law firm (Fragomen) gets all the cases held up due to DOL mass audit.
4. PERM finally approved in Dec 2008
5. EB3 I-140 approved in April 2009

6. Promotion in Dec 2008 and change of Job role later in 2009.
7. Started porting to EB2 in Jun 2010 - supervised recruiting due to Financial Crisis.
8. Filed prevailing wage in Oct 2010.
9. Firm rehaul in Jan 2011 results in siginficantly different responsibilities for me.
9. Law Firm says that the EB2 PERM in process is no longer relevant as responsibilities are siginifcantly different.
10. Filed a new PWD with new job description in Mar 2011 - this would also be supervised recruiting.
11. PWD arrives in May 2011.
12. Continue with supervised recruiting
13. After detailed review, PERM finally filed on 11/22/2011
14. PERM approved 11/29/2011 - I guess DOL was always in the loop due to supervised recruting and was quick to respond when PERM was finally filed.
15. It took us some time to organize papers etc, Concurrent filing of I-140 (premium) and I-485 filed on 12/27/2011
16. USCIS returns I-485 saying not current, while I-140 is approved in EB2.
17. 1-485 filed again on 1/16/2012. Accepted now.
18. Finger printing on 2/28/2012
19. Congressman enquires about the case on 4/19/2012
20. 5/7/2012 - received approval e-mail

When I was researching, supervised recruitng had a success rate of less than 20%. Being a quant, this number had me really worried. All went well finally though. Hoping to get the physical green card soon.

Thanks for the people at IV forums for all the guidelines and support.

If there has been approvals in May then there is a high probability that they will let the dates remain at Aug 07. Anyway lets wait and see what happens. Now even if they put "U" as Teddy pointed out they could push it back to Aug 07 anytime before October to let a few more in.

Default Teddy ... please comment

1) What are the chances that EB2 will become "U" ? OR will it remain in August 07 for rest of the year ?
2) Does it mean that any EB3 - EB2 porting with PD prior to August 2007 will still get approvals this year (before Oct 2012) ?

Default Hey USCIS, waited 8 years already..

Gauravster,
I am in the same boat and sent out the Interfiling email last month, my EB3 priority being Mar 04.
I was very bummed out being so close yet so far on the prospect of getting delayed for potentially another 6 months, after the horrendous delay I have already endured.
Maybe I shouldn't but I'll still hold on to hopes of a miracle. BTW my softLud on I-485 has not changed. Did yours change before you got the approval.

Hearty congratulations to you. I have a question. At what point of time are we supposed to seek Congressman help? Is it after certain time of Finger printing? Please let me know.

Default Super helpful insight - thanks for sharing

My Labor Certification got caught up in DOL's mass audit of Fragomen as well. Instead of indicating the audit would likely result in the PERM getting held in Labor Certification stage for 2+ years, Fragomen declared it a "routine" audit and told me there was nothing to worry about. The results for me were disastrous - 2+ years without seeing my parents and 3+ years without seeing my younger brother because of the circus of visa renewals that ensued. Should have left Deloitte a lot sooner, given how incompetently Fragomen deals with Permanent Residency cases.

One more approval for I EB2 reported on the other site. Some good news on the way? for PWMB's?

Maybe I shouldn't but I'll still hold on to hopes of a miracle. BTW my softLud on I-485 has not changed. Did yours change before you got the approval.
There were no soft LUD's on my application until the final approval. LUD was the date USCIS received the application until it was approved.
