Relocation of worksite working for the same employer

My PD is March 2005 EB2 and had filed for 485 in July 2007 and my I-140 is approved. My employer has different worksites and I'm currently working in west coast worksite. There is another worksite of my employer in East Coast. My manager is asking me whether I can relocate to east coast.

My question is relocation possible from East coast to West Coast if I'm working for the same employer. If so, is there anything else that I need to do apart from AR11? Would it impact my green card process by anyway? Would I need to provide any additional document since my 485 is pending.

Shouldnt be an issue, as long as the position you are in is same/similar. Job location at this stage (485 pending, 140 approved/pending) of the green card process is not a factor

SHould I have to submit any other document apart from regular AR11 for worksite relocation because of my pending AOS application.

If you are currently maintaining H1B status and your H1B LCA does not have east coast location mentioned on it, you need to get the H1B LCA to reflect the new location. AR11 is mandatory irrespective of what your legal status is.

you are fine

As it has been a while since you filed your 485 relocation is not a problem as long as you are in a similar job profile. I have done the same last year and my lawyers confirmed it was ok.

Another interesting scenario:

My current employer is likely to buy out my previous employer. If this becomes true, can I still use my work experience with my previous employer towards my I-140? Thanks in advance for your replies.
