Default I140 Premium processing

Experts, please share your thoughts on this.

My I140 approved and my lawyer didn't get any letter from USCIS. After 3 months I have applied for Premium processing and came to know that my I140 approved 3 months back.
In this case, is USCIS deposit the check OR sends back the check sent for Premium Process? My employer charges me for this, just want to check...

Default I140 questions and discussions here

I came to US in 2008 on a F1 visa. In 2010, I converted to H1 and have a I140 pending. With the hard economic times, theres a chance I might get laid off. If i cannot find another job, Id like to go back to school. Considering my employer has already filed i140, would i be able to change my status back to f1? i know it 'll be impossible to stamp a f1 visa on my stamp due to the i140 immigration intent, but id just want to change my status to f1.

Default Company merges before six months after filing i-485

hi,

I am current under EB 2 india and will file for I-485 in Feb 2012. There is a great possibility that my company shall merge before 6 months after I-485 is pending or in other words before Aug 2012. What happens in that case to my I-140, I-485 and green card/EAD process for my wife

Please let me know

Hi:

I been in the country for over 30 years. My parents didn't replace my green card at the age of 14. I traveled out of the country in 2003, so I put in application I-90. I stayed out of the country for couple of months and when I returned I had a letter stating they had mailed it out to me, but I never received it. I want to become a citizen do I need to replacement my green card or can I apply with out it? Please help!

Thanks,

Carol

Exclamation I-140 Processing advice

Hi Experts,

Currently my employer has filed my I-140 in regular process, i have got an offer from Company B and they are ready to transfer my H1B visa and file the fresh PERM and I-140 application. I have 18 months left on my visa, new employer mentioned even though your I-140 is approved, you will get extension based on SOW they submit and your number of years left on H1B visa not on I-140 approved (3 yrs of extension).

Please advice what shall i do in this case, shall i be with my current employer or change the employer ?

Thanks

You can switch your current I-140 processing to premium processing at any time while your I-140 application is under process. So I would suggest you do that, get your I-140 approved and then switch. IMO, it is critical to get your PD fixed. I am assuming you are EB2I/EB3I (else it doesn't matter much I guess)
