Company merger, amended I-140 returned (USCIS demands ETA-750 for new company)
I just got a unpleasant surpise from our "friends" at Texas Service Center.
My company merged with another one last year and since my PD is current I sent an amended I-140 with new company information and I-485 to USCIS with a letter explaining that old company merged with a new one and the new company assumed all liabilities of the old one.
My package was returned today with a note saying that they cannot approve my I-140 since they need Original DOL Labor Certification for the new company (I included the copy of previously approved ETA-750 in the package).
What a heck? Anybody seen this before?
