How to link the labor-cert to I-140
This is a representative example of rotten desi bodyshoping companies. My desi bodyshopper filed I-140 for me and it got approved too. Things were looking pretty rosy. I was just waiting for the retrogression to subside and file my final stage of I-485.
Then suddenly, retrogresion was eliminated and dates became current. I naturally called my company to file the final stage papers. However, the company has misteriously become incommunicado. They niether pick my calls, nor reply to my emails.
I, as a consultant, live in a different city than my company's office. So it is not possible for me to visit them everyday. I am also out of project, so not getting any paycheks from the company. However, so far I have not got any official intimation from the company that my job has been terminated.
Now I am suspecting that my company is trying to use my labor to apply for I-140 for some other consultant of the company. My questions is, how can I confirm this, and then prevent this from happening.
I know my labor certification number and my I-140 petion number. Is there any website, whether US govt or private, that can tell me which I-140 petitions have been filed on which labor-certificate.
Also, if I do come to know that my company used my labor to file somebody else's GC without first officially informing me, can I complain to CIS about that?
