Problem is on a distinguished road
Default H1 B Problem

I have problem with my Ex- Employer.I resign from there and they give me relieving letter. Now they sue me for breach of contract.I don't have copy of contract.
Contract was signed in India that I will serve them for 6 years but when I came over here they start humilating and harrasing, So at last I think to take transfer.

I have some incidence but not any written proof of harrasment.

Right now I am working in different state. My ex-employer sue me in california.

Someone can tell me please what should I do.

If we want to defence how strenghtful is our case

Maximum what they can do(Just for your knowledge they didnot pay me for first 2 month as that was trng period)

Any suggestion for employee in this case..

Can we do reverse case for humilating and harrasing.

If any one who suffered same problem please share with me.

these contracts are illegal in most states. in most states employment is "at will". meaning that the employment contract can be terminated at any time by either party.

methinks we should have a lawyer come to a chat session to answer. H1B Anonymous?

lawsuits invariably mean lawyers, which means money, whether you win or lose.

best for you to contact you local department of labour. that way your employer may get black listed for h1.

Sorry, had to put on my skeptical hat for now. There appears to be a conscious effort to spell and write grammatically incorrect English. Does not seem to be a genuine case.

Well, let's take your word for it and move on. However once you have dealt with your employer, you better work on your communication skills. That you will give you the confidence to take on employers in case of injustice meted out to you. Also, please do a spell check wherever possible, given that these days the framework makes the errors so obvious.
