Default might be getting some good news for F1 students

"Can SEVP comment on discussions regarding extending the duration of
OPT from 12 months to 29 months
NAFSA note: SEVP stated that this has become a top priority in the agency, and changes
will likely come out as an Interim Final Rule with opportunity to comment. There will be a
grandfathering clause for students who have already applied for OPT. "

picked this up from the NAFSA update jan 2008 newsletter
