Default H1-B premium processing timelines in April/May 2007

Did anyone file an H1-B extension or transfer in Premium-Processing in April or May 2007? What are the processing timelines now? Are they taking a long time to even acknowledge receipt (or worse: returning the PP fees and processing it in regular)?

Regular processing has slowed down a lot (6 weeks to issue receipt in some cases), wondering how PP is going.

Only H1 transfer or extension please, dont discuss new H1s here.

I filed PP extension in second week of April - the receipt email was sent immediately and the approval notice was sent later, mailed on time but received 4 weeks later. The online status was something like - document other than card manufactured mailed.
Now applied for transfer in PP, no receipt email since then - waiting since last 2 weeks!!! and getting anxious.
Folks, any other experiences?

On what date did you mail out your transfer petition? Was it to the california center?

I applied for extension on May 11. But, haven't received the receipt yet. I heard that new FY2008 H1 have created a backlog and, now days it takes about 4-6 weeks to get the acknowledgment receipt.

Default It took 3 months to get H1\H4 extension

I applied for my 9th year H1 visa extension on 27-Feb through regular processing, got the receipt in 10 days, got the approval on 10-May. Thus it took roughly 2.5 months.
