Default Oath Ceremony Questions

I am slated to take my citizenship oath in few weeks. I received a form on which I have to answer some questions like " If i am divorced or separated since my interview". At this point me and my wife has separated but our separation has not been approved by court which is slated to occur after 2 weeks after my oath ceremony date.

My wife is a US Citizen by birth. I got my GC through my employer and not through marriage. In this situation even though our separation has not become legal as things can always change how should I answer the question on my the form I received before I take my oath ceremony.

Thanks,

Ram

I would say "No" as your separation is not on paper yet at the time you filled out the form.

but don't take my word for that as I'm not a lawyer
