Question Need some info

I need to understand something.

Me and my wife work for same consulting company.
GC is applied on my name and my wife was on H1.

We got EAD.

My wife wants to work on EAD now.

We informed our employer that my wife will now look for a Fulltime job.

My employer was saying that since GCs/H1s are being processed. Its not advisable for her to leave the company as it will effect the GCs and H1s processing.

If employee count reduc does it affect the GC process?

I will be with the company till i get GC.

Thanks for any info u post.

It shouldn't matter if she is a beneficiary.

Default Whtz ur I-140 status?

Nothing to worry, if your I-140 is already approved. Ability to pay might come into pic if there are fewer employees and less company assets.
