Default Thanks ameryki

I'm mentioning MSC which is in Lee's Summit. I sent papers to that address only.
In our case, we applied on Jun23rd, Got the FP done on July11th. No approval of EAD Yet
Hopefully my wife will get the approval before the current EAD expires, otherwise her job is at risk
Just wondering is there a thread to track the cases from MSC

Thanks
Satya

Default what about the application that you filled online?

Just wondering, have you attched the application form that was being filled online?
when you take a print, usually all the papers (receipt 2 copies + application form) will be printed out. you need to keep one copy of the receipt for your records, and send the rest in mail.
Hope you have done the same

No. It is clearly written in the Confirmation Notice not to send the application copy.

Default Ead E-File Name issue.

Dhundhun and Others,

Thanks for the link and all the good information. I didn't know it was this simple.. I have started filling out the form and I have to save the form in middle.

My first and last names are very long 11 charecters, On the display last charecter is truncated and it shows only partial names. I am worried to continue and complete the form. But to note on the form it allowed me to enter the first and last names completly. Just worried how the final form would look like..

Any of your input is appriciated..

Thanks...

gc_kaavaali, did use AC21 ?

I tried to look for a tracker but to no avail. It looks like MSC is not a popular center and hence not a lot of feedback. However based on my experience if your wife applied 120 days before expiration of current EAD you should be golden.

1. When you e-file AP, do you wait for the receipt notice and then mail your photos etc. or you mail photos by snail mail immediately?

2. Also, when I was e-filing AP, it prompted me to fix errors, I checked many times and was unable to find errors. It however allowed me to pay for it. It seems the error was because I did not include my middle initial (which do not have). Any ideas?

3.Is e-filing really faster than paper based? Any comments on that?
Thanks

After your payment is confirmed in e-filing process, receipt is instantaneous. It also will list what you need to send by mail. After you mail documents and your documents are receipted by USCIS you will get a RN by usps mail

I have seen in couple of posting that even if there ware errors in name they issued cards correctly (may be they pulled correct name from database). This was related to swapping of FN and LN or missing MN, etc. They have taken care on truncted stuff also.

Where as on the contrary, when every thing was correct, there has been mistakes.

In your case, along with documents you are sending, I would advise you to send a yellow slip mentioning that name is truncated and your full name.

Good Luck

Default Question

Gurus:

If I am filing EAD for spouse who is a derivative on my employment based I-485, what will be her eligilibity category? employment_based (or) family_based?

Btw, this is e-file & spouse is still maintaining H1-B status.
