You dont need repeat fingerprinting if you do paper filing for EAD and AP. I just got my EAD and AP approvals (first time applications). Had FP done in Oct 2007.

Can somebody answer this question. Do we have to resubmit our fingerprint for ead and AP renewal.

Last year the attorney did all the paper work for my EAD and AP. This year I am planning to renew EAD and AP myself ( do all the paper work).

Should I let the attorney know about this or can I go ahead and do it.

Please suggest.

I'm sure that should not be right. E-file or Paper file shouldn't matter....

Can you E-file before 120 Days, but send the Paperwork following the 120 days requirement.

EAD and AP renewal

[
Hi,

Can somebody answer for this.

We apllied 485,Ead,AP in july 2007. And my and spouse ead and AP is going to expire in Sep/2008.

My wife is travelling to India by May and back by Aug 2008 and I am leaving on July and come back by Aug.

So we are supposed to Renew our EAD and AP before 120 days of expiry. After May/25 i need to file for EAD and AP.Is it ok If i file even though my wife is in India.

Or can we file both EAD and AP after we come back from vacation by Aug but we may have only 40 days time frame.

We filed our EAD and AP first time through attorney and for renewal he is charging can we renew EAD and AP by self.

Is it compulsory to renew AP every time if we donot intend to travel after this vacation.

Thanks in advance

Hi

My understanding is that once AP renewal is applied and you can not go out of this country until it is approved.

Can anybody confirm this please.

Thanks

Nothing like that..as long you have unexpired AP or H1 Visa handy you can exit/enter.

Isn't it correct gurus??
