You should be able to find it in 2 days. In my case, my receipt showed up next day and wife's showed up 2 days later. Receipt notice received in the mail after 1 week.

Default EAD and AP together or separately

My wife's EAD expiry date is mid-August but her AP expiry date is Nov 2010. Should she e-file EAD and AP together or it is a better idea to file AP separately. The reason I am asking that is the new AP may expire Aug 2011 and she may end up losing 3 month if she had applied separately.

Please let me know.
Thanks.

Default 4 LUDs on e-filed EAD

I e-filed my EAD and send documents.
E-filed on- 04/14/10
Documents received by USCIS and LUD on 04/16/10
LUD on 04/19/10
LUD on 04/20/10

So, on and after documents were received by USCIS, I had received 3 LUDs. Is this normal? Has it happened to someone else who e-filed. Mine is at NSC.

Thanks.

My wife's application had the same error - Should we send a letter or should we take an Infopass appointment.

Default EAD E-filers What supporting documents did you send?

What supporting documents did you send along with your e-filed application. Did you send photographs? The confirmation receipt clearly says do not do so.

I was planning on sending
1. Copy of current EAD (Front and back)
2. Copy I-485 receipt notice
3. Confirmation notice

Thanks!!

Letter may help. I will say do mention "Correction to response to Q#__ " in subject. Documents listed in 1.2 and 3 are all they ask for.

Do you need to send photographs. The confirmation page clearly says that you should not. It also says that you refer to the paper filing page for the list of supporting documents where photographs are listed in the set of documents.

Also is 485 receipt copy to be sent as well. The list of documents does not include these and the #A number can enable the IO to pull it up.

The reason for asking all the above is people have told me not to send any more than required as EAD is for multiple types of applicants and you do not want to create confusion.

Thanks in advance

I will not send photos. You know wat...the packets are handled by mail room contractors and they look for what is needed....anything extra does not help your cause...may only creat confusion/delay. But, this is what I think.

Default Adress for sending supporting document for E-filed EAD

I e-filed My I-765 and needs to send in my supporting documentation .
On the confirmation sheet It says to send Supporting documentation to
USCIS Texas Service Center
Attn: E-filed I-765
P O Box ..
Mesquite TX 75185

I know there was a recent bulletin that changed the filing location of I-765 .
Read Notification here

which is here
For U.S. Postal Service (USPS) Deliveries:

USCIS
PO Box 660867
Dallas, TX 75266

My understanding is this is only for paper based filings and e-filing should be on the address on the confirmation Receipt . Could someone who has recently (After March 26 ) e-filed confirm where you send the docs.

I sent my documents to the address on the confirmation receipt and I got the receipt notices in 10 days, still waiting for it to get approved though.

Default Current Immigration status on e-filing EAD

Does someone know what needs to be entered in 'Current Immigration status'? I last entered on H-1.. since I was on H-1B then.. then switched jobs on EAD.. have not gone to India since..

What should be the Current Immigration status? I was trying to e-file the EAD...
