Which service center did you apply your EAD?How many monthis did it take for approval?
It sure is painful. I will be completing 15 years in this country in about two months.

I had applied to NSC in early Feb, it was approved on 93rd day, and then took 28 days to reach me!!

My AP came in 1.5 months from applying online, whereas, my wife's in 3.5 months that included responding to RFE (they had lost the photographs!). The RFE was issued within a month of applying, but we never received it, having waited for 30 days. After calling USCIS, they re-sent the RFE. We responded to that, but when the online status hadn't changed in a month, took INFOPASS to talk to the immigration officer, who checked and said the AP was approved 15 days back!! With only 2 weeks before our travel, we were told to wait to get it on hand. We finally got it 2 days prior to our departure...

Well, who needs to go to a theme park for roller coaster rides when USCIS is here.... Glad that you finally got it though!

...must I add...

With around $400 per app to produce a piece of plastic/paper, one would think USCIS would be more efficient, customer-friendly and faster!! But hey, what's the fun in that??
