Default Hell with USCIS receipting pattern. Filed on July 16th, nothing yet

Hi guys,
it is very frustrating that most of the guys whi have filed between July 2nd -July 16 have been waiting either close to 90 or more than 90 days, just for the sake of the DAMN receipt notices.

I have been very patiently waiting for the past 84 days (as i filed mine on July16th) and I see that even folks who filed just during the Aug 10th period are also getting their notices and getting their FP done.

DAMN with USCIS sorting order, as those morons could not even implement a FIFO manner, if they had followed, we would have had our receipts long back.

Once again, HELL with these stupid receipting process.

Hope atleast some of you can understand the pain in the whole friggin process.

Default no RN,filed on July 16 at NSC

Right,
looks like USCIS are giving us least priority. They may be thinking we are suppose to file a law suit when Visa are unavailable during July3 to July 16.
Dont know where they put our application?do we get any rfe or rejection?

Default Wrote to CIS Ombudsmanís office - Please don't miss this chance

I send my Employment based I-485/I-765/I-131 application on June 29th 2007 and received at NSC on July 2nd 2007 (USPS Express mail tracking no. XXXX). Itís more than 100 days and I didnít even received the Receipt Number for all the applications.

I have following question for CIS Ombudsmanís office:

1) Per US Law, I have to get the EAD in 90 days of filling of my application? How I can get the EAD in 90 days where I didnít even get the Receipt Number after 100 days?

2) Why ďFirst In First Out (FIFO)Ē process is not followed by USCIS for receipting? Itís unfair to applicant like me when application filed on August 17th 2007 enjoying the EAD card and able to work.

3) What action you can will take to force USCIS follow their own operational manual guidelines and follow FIFO in future?

I got some good news. I called uscis just now and got two receipt numbers, one for 485 and one for EAD. Checks not cashed yet. I don't have the receipt number for AP yet. So it seems that our box is not lost and they're processing them, though so slowly. My application arrived on 7/3 at NSC, received by R. William at 9:03am.
Hope every one of us will receive our receipts, EAD and AP asap.

Here's more information. I only got the receipt numbers. The package arrived at NSC on 7/3 and recieved by R. Williams at 9:03am. My I-140 was approved at TSC last year. I live in NSC area. Receipt numbers started with LIN, so the cases were not transferred to TSC. I hope this means that they're processing the box for 9:03 on 7/3.

July VB Fiasco I-485 Receipting Delays

The USCIS has yet to release the detailed progress report on the receipting delays in terms of the numbers that have yet to be processed for receipting. The only thing people know through various private websites just indicates that there are a plenty of people who are still waiting for filing fee checks cashed or receipt notices received for the cases which were filed as early as July 2, 2007, not to mention any later cases.

We reported earlier that the USCIS had allegedly received total of 800,000 cases for the July VB fiasco cases. There is an unconfirmed report that they have completed the receipting only half way through of the total, meaning approximately 400,000. There are no sources of information to verify or confirm the figures. However, if it is correct, the USCIS has yet to process mountains of receipting workloads ahead and the filers have some additional sleepless nights which they will have to endure for a while. AMEN!

Default Can't believe...it is untrue

I think it can not be true. I strongly believe in stats look around you and see how many have not received receipt, you will find very few numbers. In my office everyone has got receipt and my friends too. I am the only unlucky person. This sample is truly random hence I believe it. Out of 15 friends I know (work for different company and filed on different date) only I am left. Whatever immigartion-law or anyone is reporting like this is wrong.

It is painful to wait like this and I am frustrated.. hope next week brings some good news...
