Abandoning an I140 Appln (By Employee, NOT Employer)
Company A filed GC in EB3 category in 2006. I140 approved, 485 filed, EAD received in 2008.
Joined Company B using EAD and AC21. Basically, company B is not involved with my immigration matters. Renewed EAD using my own money.
Got in touch with company C who agreed to file my GC in EB2 category as future employment GC. I140 thru company C approved in 2016, but GC not received due to retrogression.
Now planning to join company D within the next month who is also willing to file GC in EB2.
Can I abandon the I140 application I received from company C? I'd rather work for company D instead of company C. If yes, how do I do it? If the dates move forward in October as expected, I'll be getting my GC - in that case I'll have to work for company C. But I'd rather get my GC through company D - since it is a better company

GC is more valid that a "better" one. Just stay put & suck it for couple months with the torture. They you have choices to pick/choose.
