Default FBI to eliminate Namecheck backlog

Now that many will get their greencard without waiting for their namecheck, they are trying to eleiminate the backlog. What an irony.

Still figured this might be informative to some.

Default For USCIS

You are inept in processing Green Card but you are good at pointing out that FBI is delaying name check process. Sounds like my office

Default Would mostly benefit Natrualization cases

Well this will help mostly the Natrualization cases, since they are most likely to be stuck in name check at the FBI. As far as AOS applicants, if the time duration is more than 180 days, then name check becomes a non-issue if the applicant is otherwise eligible.

However, if USCIS gets over their usual tardiness , and by some miracle the processing of AOS cases becomes fast (within 6 months), then this above tie-up with the FBI would be very useful!
