Default Second Complete Fingerprints

Hey guys, here my story...May be some of you are in exactly the same stage...

Hi All,

Here's what happened...Day before yesterday (April 22) I called USCIS customer service ( I know, I know but I called anyway). Of course the lady on the phone told me the same old name check pending stuff.

Well, I decided to go to the local USCIS office and got the Infopass. On April 23 morning (yesterday) I went there and after scanning my 485 receipt the lady told me it is pending. I asked her about the 180 rule and she said "Yeah they're getting to these cases now". And then she said, "Your FBI name check just got cleared, so it will be a few more months". Without it registering to my brain properly, I told her that I didn't see any status change on the web site and that I have my second fingerprints yesterday (first ones October 2006). She said, "OK then give them 60 days" and that I should get my card within that time. I asked her again, "So, the FBI name check is cleared?". And she told me again yes and that they wanted to have my fingerprints yesterday cause the older ones had expired.

So I got out if there thinking, "REALLY?!!?". So, there's the story; the case status online does not tell us anything, you kind of have to go there, well not kind of, you DO HAVE TO go there. So after exactly 3 years of filing, I have some true hope and the fingerprints today will be the last BIG ones. And seeing that so many people on this site have their GCs, I think I should actually, really, hopefully have it soon. I would truly believe it once I have the GC in my hand.

Thought this might help you guys.

Any one in the same situation? Two fingerprints 15 months apart with name check cleared?

Default Every one may not be Lucky

Even if any one goes for an infopass appointment very few of them got the real info. 99.9% of times they say the same status as it appears online.

Default Row

If you are ROW and not at TSC you should get yours very soon. TSC might take some more time before they make up their mind on NC pending cases.
GOOD LUCK.
