AP – Enter United States

Hello,

I have approved EAD and AP. I am planning to go to India next month and enter united states using AP.
Do I need to carry original I-485 receipts? I have copy of the I-485 receipt. As per Nov.01.07 uscis rule, we don’t have to carry the original receipts if entering on H1 visa. But it did not say anything about AP.

Please advise on this and share your experience if anyone entered on AP.

Thank you very much for your time.

Copy should be fine. But, if your attorney has the original, ask him/her to mail to you.

Can AP be sent to spouse abroad ?

If AP of a spouse was approved while she was outside USA, can one sent her AP (oustide USA) ?

In this case, Can she use AP instead of getting H4 visa to re-enter USA ?
if not, what is reason ?

Your wife can not enter USA on AP.
The thumb rule to AP is, if you travel while its still in process, it is considered abandoned. If your wife travelled after it was approved, but not received, then yes, you can send her the AP and she will be able to travel back on AP.
You must look for H4 option for her. Talk to your attorney....
