as far as I know, there is no such limit as long as your AP is valid (not expired)

Default There is no limit...

You can travel any number of times as long as the AP is valid.

Yeah, I know people who got only two copies. I am waiting to see how many I get.

Related to this: Does it mean, we get to use AP only 2-3 times to get in and out since we have only a few copies?

On another thread someone posted that at POE they let them in without taking any AP paper. They had valid H1B but expired stamp.

This stuff is complicated

Default you can use it as long as it is valid

My opinion is that we can it as long as it valid and as long as we have copies of valid AP's with us. I got 3 copies of AP from NSC. so i thought that i can travel out of u.s and come back in 3 times. my AP is valid for 1 year only. Looks like we got to renew it for every 12 months.

Correct me if i am wrong

It is true, NSC issues 3 copies whereas TSC issues 2.

I dont think many people will make more than one trip in next 12 months. You can travel multiple times, there is no limitation. If you are concerned about 2 copies - at POE tell the officer that you only have two copies of travel document, h/she will make a photocopy for POE record and will hand over the original to you - some IV user has reported the same.

What happens when you show this advance parole paper to the officer in india or anywhere when you try to board the plane. If your H1 is expired do they give you hard time on your advance parole document?

If you are passing thru immigration in any country - they know what is advance parole is, and will let you pass thru. If you are transiting thru a country, you may have to check for transit visa requirements - as advance parole that you have in hand is not a visa, it is a permission to re-enter/enter.
