Default Acuisition by another company

Hello All,
Can anyone please share their views on the following case.
I am on valid H1 and have also filed for 485. Mu company is being acuired by another company? I have following doubts in my mind?

D I need to do change anything such as filing for h1 transfer etc in this case since its an acuisition not a change in job and I will be working in same position as on earlier?
Do I need my 485 case shifted to new company's attorney or rather do I need attorney at all for my pending 485 case?
Would it be better if my old attorney handles my 485 case and new attorney handles h1 transfer?
Thanks in advance.

Sidshar,

I would suggest checking with both the "official" attorney for your company and your HR department to see what they say. I went through a similar situation this past summer, and when I filed my I-485, AP and EAD applications, I used the new company's name.

However, I also had to renew my H1B visa, but in this case, the letter of employment used to renew my visa stamp had the old company's letterhead and made reference to both the old company's name and the new company's name. So, once again, I highly suggest checking with your company's current attorney and your HR department to get a better response that fits to your situation.

P.S. I would consult with the attorney that your HR department says. In my case, the immigration attorney did not change.
