Company got acquired. How does it affect my green card processing?

My PERM has been certified and i140 has been filed. I have been waiting for i140 approval now, but my company got acquired yesterday.
How does it affect my green card processing? Will it need to restart? If yes, from what stage?
Thanks in advance!!

In my case my I-140 was approved my company did amendment to existing approved I-140 from previous company. This will ensure that you are still on board with new company and you have been employed with the new company. I guess this is just a formality. I am guessing as your I-140 is pending the new company has to provide some paper work saying that X company has been acquired by Y company and Mr. XXXX is still employed with us so that your I-140 gets approved. I don't see any issues with this.
