Employer Acquired after I140 approval
My current employer has sold his company to itself, changed from a different state to current state in US.
I am in the 6th year of H1b, my i140 is approved.
My attorney says that we need a copy of the agreement between the old and new company for this acquisition. However my employer is not willing to give confidential information about its assets which is mentioned in the agreement.
Is there another way to prove authenticity of this acquisition without showing the assets of the company.
I want to continue my GC process and also get and extension of my H1b.
What options do I have?
