Default EB3 to EB2 (Employer change )

I worked for company A, have I-140 approved with PD 03/2009 under EB3 category. I changed company from A to B. Now company B is in process of filing my PERM under EB2.

My question is if say for some reason in coming days (future) the EB3 Visia filing dates becomes current or after 03/2009. Will I be able to file the Visa (I-485) using previous employer?? Under what situation I can use that opportunity to get EAD based on employer A?

Thank you
