Default EB3 backlog to go away in many less years

Unemployment rate reaches 9.8 pct. as hiring slows - Yahoo! News

Unemployment rate reaches 9.8 pct. as hiring slows

This means since 2006 many not apply for green card. Them before 2006 many got fired off in EB3 due to economy.

Ultimately less queue length than expected.

Unemployment economy is bad news for America. But good for EB3 queue.

Sorry I don't understand this. If many of them already applied with parallel processing, how will it matter if they got fired or left their jobs? the queue will stay the same no?

Arrow Please stop being stupid...

Unemployment rate 9.8% simply means that 1/10 families are NOT having good times. This is not a joke, if it's not good for 1/10 families, it's NOT good for you, not good for your employer and not good for the economy at large. Period.

At the least you can be sympathetic to the families.
Moderators, can you please close this thread and delete it, if possible?

Such irresponsible comments from few people can do more damage to our community than good.

it is obvious bad job data is good or EB-3...It is only when all EB-2 is current and less number of new people filing in EB-2, than only left over can trickle down to EB-3.

Ur reasoning is illogical. Lets say for a moment it is...even then, unemployment is a known fact in various sectors but NOT IT (and maybe a few others).

IT has been steady when it comes to employment and it still is. In the month of Dec, companies r looking for IT ppl says it all.

So, maybe u can find some other reason(s) to wait thru ur Green day

Reasoning is not illogical, it is correct. What you are saying is that unemployment numbers are not really the true picture of IT job market, which I agree is true.

Dil Ke Khush rakhney ko - Ghalib Ye Khayal Accha hai.
Buddy -- I am amazed! You are so so out of touch with reality. EB-3 India is doomed.
