Will IV be adding more new features to the tracker?

Absolutely. Immigration Voice will add many new exciting features to the IV tracker and will try to make it the best in class for our members.

Will IV use the Data for advocacy purposes?

We are working to collect relevant data for IV tracker which is intended to be used for two purposes:
  1. To help all members see the progress with other cases filed around the same time.
  2. We have reached out to USCIS for the pending applications data. But USCIS's feedback has not been positive. So we plan on using the collected data to make our case with the lawmakers, showing the analysis of the data for the delays with various cases and that the problem is widespread. Please note that we will guard the privacy of our members and individual case data will never be shared with anyone.
To achieve this objective we need help from all members and we request you to please provide valid data. It may be few minutes inconvenience for you but it will certainly help us to make our case with the lawmakers. That is why we sincerely request you to please enter valid data/dates in your IV User Profile, even if it requires you to go back and look at your documents. Many members are spending a lot of time and effort to collect the relevant data so that the data could be utilized to make our case stronger.

Is my Data secure?

Yes. We will not share individual case data with any bussiness interest. Unlike other trackers run by business interests, Immigration voice is and will be a non profit. We will not sell the data to anyone to make money. We are providing this feature to assist our members so that they can track their cases in relation to others. Please note that we will guard the privacy of our members and individual case data will never be shared with anyone. Only the analysis graphs may be used in our advocacy presentations.

Why is IV tracker needed?

Immigration department does not provide any such services to applicants and applicants undergo lot of anxiety waiting for the results of their applications. This tracker will allow members to keep in touch with others in the same boat and connect with them during this process. The tracker will also allow them to make informed guesses on the progress of their own application in relation with others who may have similar case details.

My case is already approved. Why do I need this tracker?

Even if your case is approved, your data can be helpful to others. We request you to come back and add your data.

How do I report a bug or a enhancement to tracker?

Thank you for finding a bug or enhancement suggestion to improve IV tracker. We will make attempts on ongoing basis to improve IV tracker and include new features and services for our members. If you have ideas to improve this tracker do contact us at info@immigrationvoice.org .

Does the trend/data/analysis guarantees that my case will be processed in a similar manner/similar timeframe?

No. Immigration Voice offers no guarantees. The data is added by IV members and we do not take any responsibility on the accuracy of the data. Since tracking is a collective community effect we do anticipate that members will help each other by entering valid data that will offer better guesses to others as to how similar cases may move in a timeframe. We however would like to caution our members that it is impossible to determine with 100% accuracy when their application will be processed/approved. This uncertaininity is something we will try to remove through our advocacy process and try to make the process more smooth and transparent.
