IV Wiki Privacy Policy

Overview

While you are reading information collected about you is not more than is normally collected by web sites in general in their server logs. If you are contributing to the wiki, you are publishing every word you post publicly. If you write something, assume that it will be kept forever. This includes articles, user pages and talk pages. See below for more specific information.

Copyrighted Materials

You should not add copyrighted material that you don't own to IV Wiki unless the material either is public domain or you have explicit permission to use it. Please don't copy and paste from other sites into IV wiki.

Deleting content from IV Wiki

Deleting text from IV wiki does not really delete them. In normal articles, anyone can look at a previous version and see what was there. If an article is "deleted", any sysop/administrator, meaning almost anyone trusted not to abuse the deletion capability, can see what was deleted. Only a developer can permanently delete information from the IV wiki and there is no guarantee this will happen except in response to legal action.

Editing IV Wiki Content

To add/edit a page in the IV wiki, you need to be logged in. You will be identified by your user name. Your IP address will not be available to the public, but it will be stored on the wiki servers for a relatively short amount of time.
