Immigration Voice organized an advocacy event for volunteers from across the country to meet with members of the 110th Congress, both in the Senate and House, in Washington, D.C. This event provided volunteers with an opportunity to advocate for bipartisan immigration reform in more than 125 meetings with Congressional offices.

Hot on the heels of this advocacy event, over 1,000 high-skilled legal immigrants from across the United States were united by Immigration Voice to peacefully march to the United States Capitol to protest horrendous injustice in the employment-based immigration system. The timing of this march was in response to a particularly egregious visa bulletin fiasco that impacted many members of the community in July 2007.
