Immigration Voice launched a nationwide campaign to oppose Hatch Amendment #1025 to the Budget resolution. The Hatch Amendment would have increased the H1-B visa cap and exempted advanced degree holders from the H1-B cap without any corresponding increase in Green Cards or other Green Card fixes. As a result of the nationwide campaign, Sen. Orrin Hatch withdrew the amendment within 24 hours.
