Immigration Voice organized an advocacy event that was attended by grassroots volunteers from all across the United States. We were joined by Sunayana Dumala, the bereaved spouse of Srinivas Kuchibotla. Srinivas Kuchibotla was the victim of a hate crime in Congressman Yoder’s district. Sunayana’s grit and determination shone through and provided a face to a tragic worst-case scenario with which dependent spouses who languish in the Green Card backlog have to grapple.
