The Fairness for High Skilled Immigrants Act is introduced in the 116th Congress thanks to the leadership of Chairwoman Lofgren and Ranking Member Buck (of the Immigration Sub-Committee).

The latest version contains two minor technical changes:

  1. Inclusion of a “Do No Harm” provision in the bill so anyone with an approved I-140 is guaranteed to not be harmed by our bill.
  2. The Transition period (including the “Do No Harm” provision) now applies to EB-5 Visas also.

These two changes resolve any legitimate argument that anyone with legal standing might make against our bill. We look forward to getting the Fairness bill done this year.
